Minister of Justice receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Bernhard Mathias Kisler

On 8 December, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Bernhard Mathias Kisler. Welcoming the Ambassador, the Minister highly appreciated the relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Germany at both bilateral and multilateral levels. Arpine Hovhannisyan noted that there is mutually beneficial co-operation at very different levels between the Ministries of Justice of both countries, as well as expressed hope that the visit of the Ambassador will become a stimulus for the development of the existing relations and for the deepening thereof. Bernhard Mathias Kisler expressed gratitude to Arpine Hovhannisyan for the reception and expressed confidence that the already established mutually beneficial co-operation would continue. The Ambassador highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in the field of justice and expressed willingness to support them During the meeting, the parties also addressed the issue of introducing the probation service in Armenia, Support to the development of electronic governance and database systems within the judicial system, the anti-corruption policy, as well as the reforms concerning the legislation on discrimination and the judicial reforms.
