Minister of Justice receives representatives of Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR

 Today, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Davit Harutyunyan received representatives of the Venice Commission and the OSCE/ODIHR.

Minister Harutyunyan emphasised the usefulness and importance of professional meetings being held on a regular basis and discussed with the representatives of the international institutions a number of issues concerning the draft Law of the Republic of Armenia “On freedom of conscience and religious organisations”.

In particular, the Minister of Justice answered the questions that were of interest to the experts, dwelled on the regulations suggested by the draft Law and the recommendations of the team of experts regarding thereto.

At the end of the meeting, Davit Harutyunyan expressed gratitude to the representatives of the international institutions for the effective co-operation in developing the draft laws.
