Report on the Activities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia for 2008
Description
Based on the results of the analysis of the activities of the Ministry of Justice, it can be concluded that during the reporting period the Ministry in general succeeded in the implementation of its planned tasks and undertaking necessary initiatives. The Ministry ensured uninterrupted functioning in all spheres of its activities; the works with the European Court of Human Rights were temporarily suspended (from 10 February to 1 September 2008) due to the destruction of relevant documents by fire occurred at the administrative building of the Ministry on 9 February 2008. Currently all documents have been restored, and the cooperation has been restarted in full.
