Work experience:

2004-2009 — Specialist at the Department for Analysis and Improvement of Legislation of the Staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia;

March-October 2009 — Translator-lawyer at the Department for Foreign Relations of the Staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia;

2009-2011 — Assistant to Chief of Staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for legal affairs;

2011-2014 — Assistant to Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia (concurrent employment during the last two years);

2012-2014 — Assistant to President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for legal affairs;

2014-2015 — Team Leader in the project "Support to Institutional Capacity-Building of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia" of the USAID (component for improvement of procedures and regulations);

2015-2018 — Head of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Staff of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia;

2018-2019 — Advisor to First Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan (international legal affairs);

January 2019-July 2019 — Advisor to the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia (international legal affairs).

Upon the Decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia of 3 July 2019, she was appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

Education:

1998-2002 — Yerevan State University, Chair of Arabic Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Bachelor's degree;

2002-2004 — Yerevan State University, Chair of Arabic Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Master's degree;

2006-2008 — Yerevan Northern University, Faculty of Law, Bachelor's degree.

Other information:

Fluent in English, Russian, French, German and Arabic.

Diploma in the French language in the field of diplomacy and international relations.

Non-partisan.

Single.

Co-ordinates the activities of the Ministry of Justice in the following spheres assigned to her with respect to implementation of the policy reserved to the Ministry:

(a)    co-ordination of the action plan arising from the National Strategy on Human Rights Protection and ensuring implementation thereof;

(b)    ensuring of participation in the legal protection of interests of the Republic of Armenia in interstate relations;

(c)    ensuring of exercise of powers connected with international treaties within the scope of the powers of the Ministry under the Law "On international treaties of the Republic of Armenia";

(d)    ensuring of legislation in the field of protection of the rights of arrested and detained persons in places of deprivation of liberty, ensuring of liaison with relevant international organisations (European Committee for the Prevention of Torture of the Council of Europe, UN Committee Against Torture, etc.);

(e)    co-ordination of activities for legal support to the integration processes of the Republic of Armenia;

(f)     co-ordination of mutual legal assistance in civil and criminal cases and of the sector of transfer of convicts;

(g)    ensuring of co-operation with other states, international donor and credit organisations and ensuring general co-ordination of programmes being jointly implemented;

(h)    development of the policy and development programmes of the "Translation Centre of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia" State Non-Commercial Organisation and ensuring of official translation of legal acts;

(4)Deputy Minister K. Grigoryan  co-ordinates the relevant activities in the fields assigned to her through the Department of International Legal Cooperation and the Department of Mutual Legal Assistance of the Ministry, as well as the "Translation Centre of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia" State Non-Commercial Organisation, which operates within the system of the Ministry.
