Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan discusses issues related to provision of quality legal aid to citizens with his Belarusian counterpart during a working visit to Belarus

From 23 to 24 May, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan left for Belarus on a working visit at the invitation of Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Khomenko. During the visit, the main directions for development of co-operation between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries and sector-specific issues of bilateral interest were discussed. A co-operation agreement was signed between the two government agencies.

Within the scope of the working visit, Minister Andreasyan visited the Territorial Division of the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency of the Maskowski District of Minsk and the Multifunctional Centre of the Belarusian Notary Chamber, and also got acquainted with the "One-stop Shop" service at the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Within the framework of the visit, Minister Andreasyan also visited the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus (SFEC RB) and met with its administration, got acquainted with the technical equipping of the multi-profile laboratories of the Centre and the research conducted in those laboratories, the activities of the Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel and the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee.
A co-operation agreement was also signed during the visit to the Committee.
