Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan meets with Minister of Internal Affairs of Lithuania in Vilnius

Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan, who is on a two-day official visit to Vilnius, had a meeting with Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Agnė Bilotaitė. During the meeting, Minister Andreasyan informed about the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Armenia and provided details of the process. The Lithuanian counterpart expressed willingness to support the mutual interaction between the Ministry of Justice and the police, as well as the exchange of experience with regard to police reforms.

As the person co-ordinating the process of establishing the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Armenia and engaged in the police reforms, Minister Andreasyan invited his Lithuanian counterpart to Armenia, expressing hope to strengthen the co-operation in the future.

The parties also touched upon issues related to the Patrol Service and other issues of mutual interest.
