New unified offices for provision of state services launched

Within the framework of the visit to Tavush Marz on 2 February, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan participated in the launch of two unified offices for provision of state services in Ijevan and Haghardzin. Instead of going to the capital city to obtain the relevant statement of information from a state authority, the residents of Tavush Marz can now visit the Ijevan branch of ArdshinBank or the office of HayPost in Haghardzin and obtain the document, saving both time and travel expenses.

Arpine Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude to all the operators having joined the initiative and urged citizens to take advantage of this opportunity provided by the Government.

According to Director General of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission Christian Danielsson, this is truly an essentially significant initiative, and Armenia is one of the first countries that have managed to record such an achievement. "This is a very good example of how state services can become more accessible for citizens,” the representative of the European Commission said.

Let us remind that upon the assignment of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia initiated and, in a short amount of time, implemented the idea of launching unified offices for provision of state services, which are already operating in the city of Yerevan — at the branches of HayPօst (address: 21 Nalbandyan Street), ArdShinBank (address: 24 Tigran Mets Street), Ameriabank (address: 6 Deghatan Street) and Converse Bank (address: 4/6 Kajaznuni Street), at the office of HayPost in the Garni community, as well as at the offices of HayPost in the city of Gyumri (address: 5 Rizhkov ) and the city of Etchmiadzin (2 M. Mashtots Street), at the branch of "Ardshinbank" in the city of Ijevan (address: 10 Melikbekyan, Ijevan) and at the office of HayPost in Haghardzin.

Upon the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 26 January, the list of the operators performing the functions of the service offices of state administration bodies has been expanded, including also Anelik Bank and ArmEconomBank. Unified offices for provision of state services will also be launched in the rural communities of all marzes (provinces).
