Minister of Justice receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Armenia

On 7 December, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Armenia Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi. The Minister welcomed the Ambassador and noted that the existing friendly relations between Armenia and Kuwait serve as a good basis for the deepening and development of co-operation in the legal sector as well. In this context, Arpine Hovhannisyan stressed the importance of a number of issues concerning the legal sector included on the agenda for the next sitting of the Armenian-Kuwaiti Intergovernmental Commission, as well as stressed that there is great potential for the deepening of mutual co-operation between the two countries. Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi expressed gratitude to the Minister for the reception and addressed the perspectives of development of co-operation between the Ministries of Justice of Armenia and Kuwait. The parties also discussed a number of issues concerning the creation of legal grounds for the exchange of convicts between the two countries and the organising of mutual visits, as well as affirmed that this meeting is a best start for the development of partnership in the legal sector.
