Minister of Justice receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia

   On 9 February, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Johannes Daumann.

   During the conversation with the Ambassador, the Minister stressed the importance of co-operation between the two countries in the justice sector and mentioned that there is a great potential to deepen it.

   Ambassador Johannes Daumann extended thanks for the reception and discussed a range of issues of mutual interest with the Minister. In particular, the parties touched upon the projects being implemented within the framework of co-operation with the Council of Europe, protection of human rights, the legislation covering discrimination and reforms in the judicial field.

   At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the willingness to enhance the effectiveness of co-operation between the two countries in the justice sector.
