Minister of Justice on a working visit to Bulgaria

Today, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan departed for Sofia, capital of Bulgaria to make a two-day working visit for participating in a high-level Conference entitled “Strengthening Judicial Independence and Impartiality as a Pre-condition for the Rule of Law in Council of Europe Member States”.
The aim of the Conference is to provide an opportunity to stimulate the dialogue between the Council of Europe and its member states on problems of independence and impartiality of the judiciary.
Approximately two hundred delegates from various countries of the world, i.e. ministers of justice, high-ranking members of the judiciary, as well as representatives of the CoE institutions and other international organisations attended the conference.
