Minister of Justice receives newly appointed Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan

On 11 May, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan received Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Argo Avakov.

The Minister congratulated the newly appointed Head of the Office on assuming office and highly appreciated the current level of co-operation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia with the OSCE Office in Yerevan.

Arpine Hovhannisyan also attached importance to the support that the OSCE Office in Yerevan has shown in the process of legislative reforms, expecting ensuring of the continuity of that support.

Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Argo Avakov extended his thanks to the Minister for the meeting, highlighted the significance of the programmes being carried out with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and expressed willingness to deepen the current mutual co-operation.

During the meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed issues of mutual interest that were related to the drafts of the Electoral and Judicial Codes of the Republic of Armenia, etc.
