More than ten thousand entrepreneurs have registered in the course of one year

Throughout 2016, the State Register Agency of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia registered and recorded 3417 limited liability companies, 68 closed joint-stock companies, 6 open joint-stock companies, 10 state non-commercial organisations, 3 commercial co-operatives, 32 community non-commercial organisations, 54 agricultural co-operatives and 13095 individual entrepreneurs, of which 1818 were re-registered.

In the same period, 290 non-governmental organisations, 8 political parties, 6 unions of legal entities, 104 funds and foundations, 9 trade unions, 1 religious organisation, 10 state administrative institutions, 16 community administrative institutions and 57 consumer co-operatives were registered.

In 2016, 1 registration conditioned by demerger, 2 registrations conditioned by restructuring, 39 registrations conditioned by accession and 17 registrations conditioned by spin-off were carried out.

8144 changes of commercial organisations, 2541 registrations of changes of individual entrepreneurs, 7886 cases of termination of activity of individual entrepreneurs and 653 cases of liquidation of legal entities have been registered and recorded. Registration and recording have been carried out within the time limits defined by law.

9300 pieces of information about a legal entity kept in the state register were provided from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, of which 2600 were provided free-of-charge.

In the mentioned period, about 160 million drams were transferred to the State Budget.

23 media outlets were registered in the State Register Agency of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, of which 17 were newspapers and 6 were journals.
