Guide on personal data protection in labour relations

The Agency for Protection of Personal Data of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia published a guide on protection of personal data in labour relations.
The purpose of the latter is to ensure a high level of protection of personal data in labour relations, protect the rights of employees (data subjects), inform employers (data developers) on the main issues of personal data protection and ensure a uniform interpretation of legislation.
The Guide has been developed on the basis of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, Recommendations N 89(2) of the Committee of the Ministers of the Council of Europe, the recommendations of the International Labour Organisation, decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the best practices of European countries.
