Training course for those responsible for implementing anti-corruption programme within republican executive bodies launched

On 4 September, the training course for the year 2017 for those responsible for implementing anti-corruption programme within republican executive bodies was launched. The training course is being conducted on the basis of the Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia of 17 April 2017. The syllabus, schedule and the number of participants of the training course have been approved by the mentioned Order as well.
Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Suren Krmoyan attached importance to the conduct of a training course on the fight against corruption within executive bodies and added that the representatives of the agency must be persistent in implementation of the programme.
"The training course will focus on practical issues. The participants will be presented with information on the fight against corruption, including electronic management programmes effectively used in contacts with citizens," Suren Krmoyan stated. The Deputy Minister urged the representatives of all agencies to present to the public, through the provision of open and transparent information, the possible measures to tackle corruption risks.
Director of the “Legal Education and Rehabilitation Program Implementation Center” SNCO of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Hayrapetyan attached importance to the incorruptible image of a civil servant and stated that he or she must refrain from corrupt practices.
Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia, the State Revenue Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the State Urban Development Committee, the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and other state bodies are participating in the first stage of the training course for those responsible for implementing the anti-corruption programme within republican executive bodies.
It should be noted that the training courses on implementation of the anti-corruption programme will last until 29 September.
