Candidates for members of the Professional Commission on Constitutional Reforms selected on a competitive basis are known (added)

The Ministry of Justice is publishing the results of the selection of candidates for members of the Professional Commission on Constitutional Reforms who are academic lawyers and representatives of non-governmental organisations. Thus, the candidates selected by the Ministry of Justice are the following:

academic lawyers, including Anahit Manasyan, Artur Ghambaryan, Armen Mazmanyan, Arsen Tavadyan, Levon Gevorgyan and Tigran Markosyan;

representatives of non-governmental organisations, including representative of the "Armenian Lawyers' Association" NGO Karen Zadoyan and representative of the "Union of Informed Citizens" advisory NGO Daniel Ioannisyan.

The list of the aforementioned candidates selected by the Ministry of Justice will be submitted to the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia for the latter to touch upon the issue of including them in the Commission to be established upon the decision of the Prime Minister.

At the same time, we would like to inform that the Ministry of Justice examined several applications to select the candidates, and the candidates who were not selected may have the opportunity to be involved in the activities of the to-be-established Commission as an expert or consultant.
