Ministers of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation discuss the possibilities for deepening co-operation

On 18-20 May, Acting Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Rustam Badasyan was in the Russian Federation for the purpose of taking part in the meeting of the Ministers of Justice entitled "Digital Challenges for Justice in New Era", which was held in the capital of Moscow.

 On 19 May, before the event, Rustam Badasyan met with Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuychenko.

 

The Acting Minister expressed gratitude to his Russian counterpart for the invitation and meeting, as well as to the President of the Russian Federation and the Government — for the efforts they had made to ensure peace in the region.

Touching upon the issues on the agenda, Rustam Badasyan presented the comprehensive reforms being implemented in the e-justice sector aimed at digitalising all the processes of civil, administrative and criminal proceedings, bankruptcy sector, sector of enforcement of judicial acts, notary services, and then emphasised that Armenia is interested in the bilateral co-operation targeted at creating a unified platform for document circulation, as well as exchange of experience in the field of provision of public services within the scope of CIS.

Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Suren Grigoryan also participated in the meeting.
