Rustam Badasyan receives Ambassador of Italy to Armenia

Today, Acting Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Armenia Alfonso Di Riso.
Rustam Badasyan greeted the Ambassador, welcomed to Armenia and emphasised that Armenia and Italy have strong historical ties and experience of successful co-operation in different sectors. In this regard, the Acting Minister highly appreciated the contribution of Italy to the programme ''Strengthening Anti-Corruption Reforms in Armenia'' by which the OSCE supports Armenia in establishing the Anti-Corruption Committee.
Ambassador Di Riso expressed his gratitude for the cordial reception and expressed readiness to continue co-operation especially in the anti-corruption field.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
