Minister of Justice and Ambassador of Russia to the Republic of Armenia discuss issues related to the constitutional, police, anti-corruption and other reforms

Today, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.

Karen Andreasyan welcomed the Ambassador to the Ministry of Justice, highly appreciated the strategic and partnership relations of the two countries and presented the broad agenda of reforms of the Ministry of Justice to the Ambassador. The agenda concerned the constitutional reforms, anti-corruption policy, police reforms and other sectors.

Attaching importance also to the goal to implement reforms in the field of public services, during the conversation with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Karen Andreasyan touched upon the opportunity for deepening of interaction between the Civil Status Acts Registration Agencies of Armenia and Russia, especially for the creation of a unified electronic platform.

The Minister asked the Ambassador to transmit his warm greetings to Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuychenko and at the same time expressed willingness to personally meet with his Russian counterpart and discuss a number of issues related to exchange of experience.
