Karen Andreasyan discusses with Country Manager of the World Bank in Armenia co-operation for capacity-building of the Compulsory Enforcement Service

During the meeting held on 2 November, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan presented to the newly-appointed Country Manager of the World Bank for Armenia Carolin Geginat the reforms agenda of the Ministry, including the anti-corruption reforms and constitutional reforms, improvement of the sphere of freedom of speech, capacity-building of the institution of arbitration and the community of advocates, increase of effectiveness of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, etc.

The Minister congratulated Carolin Geginat on being appointed and highly appreciated the ongoing support that the World Bank provides to the reforms being carried out in Armenia, particularly in the justice and police sectors.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest and agreed to enhance the existing fruitful co-operation.
