Prime Minister of Georgia received Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen Andreasyan today

Today, on 2 May, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili received Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen Andreasyan. The Prime Minister of Georgia conveyed his warm greetings to Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, attaching importance to the strong partnering ties with Prime Minister Pashinyan. During the meeting, importance was attached to the memorandum of co-operation signed between Ministers of Justice of Armenia and Georgia in January of this year. The Prime Minister of Georgia attached importance to the agreement of the Ministers of Justice of the two countries to strengthen cooperation in the justice sector and in the fields of human rights protection and public services. Minister Andreasyan presented to the Prime Minister of Georgia the agreement on co-operation and exchange of experience in the fields of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, the Arbitration Centre, Justice Homes and in the probation sector, as well as other issues related to the justice sector. The importance of joint works to maintain peace and stability in the region and overcome the existing challenges was highlighted. During the meeting of Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan with the Prime Minister of Georgia, the “Peaceful Neighbourhood in the South Caucasus” initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia was also discussed. In this context, the willingness of the Georgian side to contribute to the strengthening of peace in the region was confirmed.
