Migration Service to also operate at Unified Office for Public Services at 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street from now on

From now on, the Unified Office for Public Services located at 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street will also provide the service of the Migration Service for granting residency status to foreigners on the ground of employment activity:

✓    An employer wishing to hire a foreign employee shall submit an electronic application through the “workpermit.am” platform. The application shall be circulated among competent authorities electronically. In case of a positive decision, the foreigner shall receive a notice to show up at the Unified Office for Public Services and get the card — the document on residency status on the ground of employment activity.

✓    Citizens of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union employed in Armenia shall personally register on the website “workpermit.am”, receive, in a shorter period, a notice to show up at the Unified Office for Public Services and obtain the statement of information certifying lawfulness of residence in the form of a card.

✓    The specialist of the Labor Migration and Monitoring Division of the Migration Service may create a user account for a foreign employee at the Citizens' Service Centre as well.
