From January 1, 2023, all legal entities (regardless of the organizational legal type) are obliged to submit a declaration of beneficial owners to the Agency of the State Register of Legal Entities. The deadline for the specified obligation expires on March 1, 2023. Failure to submit information on beneficial owners by the person who has the duty to do so within the time limit established by law, in accordance with Article 169.29 of the Code on Administrative Offenses, causes administrative liability. It should be notes that the persons who have submitted a declaration in previous years are also obliged to submit information about the relevance of the information mentioned in the previous declaration by February 20, 2023 or they must submit an amended declaration. Failure to submit relevant information within the specified period also causes administrative liability. |
