According to the legislative amendments initiated by the Ministry of Justice, information and documents on unauthorised structures constructed in Yerevan must be submitted to the Cadastre Committee before 1 January 2023

09/11/2022

According to the legislative amendments drafted by the Ministry of Justice and having entered into force on 6 January 2022, unauthorised structures may not be declared as legal and are subject to demolition (dismantling). However, the regulations concerning the legalisation of unauthorised structures in force before the entry into force of the Law, including the provisions of the secondary legislation adopted on the basis of those regulations, shall apply to unauthorised structures constructed before the entry into force of the Law and unauthorised structures (parts of unfinished unauthorised structures) record-registered under the procedure prescribed by the decision of the Government establishing the procedure for record-registration of unauthorised structures. Therefore, for legalisation of unauthorised structures constructed before the entry into force of the Law, it is necessary to record-register the particular unauthorised structure (a part of unfinished unauthorised structure).

Let us remind that information and documents on unauthorised structures (parts of unfinished unauthorised structures) constructed within the administrative boundaries of the city of Yerevan before 1 January 2021 may be submitted to the Cadastre Committee for record-registration before 1 January 2023.

The specified unauthorised structures cannot be record-registered and, consequently also legalised after the expiry of the prescribed time limit.
