Grigor Minasyan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India Kishan Dan Dewal discuss issues concerning transfer of convicts and other issues of mutual interest

Acting Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia H.E. Kishan Dan Dewal.

During the meeting, Grigor Minasyan and Kishan Dan Dewal discussed issues related to extraditions, mutual legal assistance, transfers of convicts and other issues of mutual interest.

The activities for drafting bilateral treaties "On extradition", "On mutual legal assistance in civil cases", "On mutual legal assistance in criminal cases" and "On transfer of convicts" between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of India were also touched upon during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to sum up the activities for drafting the aforementioned bilateral international treaties and transfer, via diplomatic channels, to the Indian side for consent to the treaties and its signature as soon as possible after completing the processes arising from the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On international treaties".
