From now on, citizens will not have to wait 7 days after paying the amount subject to confiscation

For years, there has been a fair complaint by the citizens that even after making the payment, they had to apply to different authorities, wait for days until the seizure imposed on their property and financial resources by the Compulsory Enforcement Service is removed.

As a result of the cooperation of the Ministry of Justice, the Central Bank and "Ameriabank", an automated program was launched, thanks to which, if the entire amount subject to confiscation is present in the banned bank account, the confiscation of the amount and the unbanning of the bank account will take place within 1 working day, instead of the previous 5-7 days. Thanks to digital solutions, when the Compulsory Enforcement Service sends a confiscation message to the bank, the latter's responses will be automatic from now on, without human intervention, which will allow to avoid possible mistakes and save time.

The newly implemented automation system has a number of advantages, which are: quick and efficient regulation of the relations between the Compulsory Enforcement Service and the bank within the framework of enforcement proceedings, a most simplified administration, the unbanning of citizens' accounts in the shortest possible time, the exclusion of the possibility of human error in the unbanning process.

It should be noted that the Compulsory Enforcement Service had already implemented a similar pilot program with "ID Bank" and "Converse Bank". The process will be continuous and the system will be implemented in all banks of the Republic of Armenia.
