Council for Constitutional Reforms votes in favour of formulating new guarantees of protecting social and economic, cultural rights in the third chapter of the Constitution

The regular sitting of the Council of Constitutional Reforms took place. The proposal to eliminate the separation of Chapters 2 and 3 of the Constitution and to enshrine the main social, economic and cultural rights in the Chapter on fundamental human rights was discussed at the sitting as the first issue on the agenda.

Question and answer session and exchange of opinions were conducted after the report. Upon the results of the discussion, the Council decided to formulate new guarantees of protecting social and economic, cultural rights in the third Chapter of the Constitution.

As a second issue on the agenda, the possibility of creation of state and, especially, autonomous bodies under the Constitution and the review of their status, as well as the possibility of delegating the powers of state bodies to subjects of private law were presented.

The Council decided to continue the discussion of this issue at the next sitting.
