Judicial reforms and digitisation: the co-operation with the World Bank to expend

At the workshop entitled "Moving the judicial system of Armenia to the 21st century" organised by the World Bank, Deputy Minister of Justice Levon Balyan noted that the co-operation between the Ministry and the World Bank is carried out in a number of directions and programmes, each of which has its own positive impact on the justice system of the Republic of Armenia.
Levon Balyan recorded that the Republic of Armenia pursues the European standards and best practices of comprehensive reforms in the field of justice, and in recent years, due to all this, progress has been recorded in a number of fields.
The Deputy Minister has emphasised that the Strategy of Judicial and Legal Reforms for 2022-2026 adopted the previous year aims to continue and expand the co-operation with a number of international structures carried out in the context of implementation of previous strategy measures, and in particular, there is a great co-operation with the WB in the directions of judicial reforms as well as digitisation.
Summing up his speech, Levon Balyan reaffirmed the willingness of the Ministry of Justice for further co-operation, expressing confidence that the similar discussions between the Ministry of Justice and the representatives of the judicial system will contribute to the further improvement of the justice system and the strengthening of the rule of law.
