“Kosh” Penitentiary Institution shut down and property given for defence purposes within scope of optimisation

Upon the decision of the Government, "Kosh" Penitentiary Institution, as well as the adjacent premises and land plot — located in the Ashtarak community of Aragatsotn Marz — will be transferred to the Ministry of Defence. According to the draft, the Ministry of Defence will establish a military training unit in the premises of "Kosh" Penitentiary Institution.
