The Expertise Centre replenished with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment

The Department of Materials Science, Fire-technical and Electrical Expertise of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO has been replenished with new equipment. From this point forth, the Center will carry out the following activities:

1. Detection of the internal electrical grid, which will create an opportunity to draw up a scheme for the installation of hidden cables and wires.
2. Detection of the damaged sections of hidden and situated cables and wires.
3. Adjustment and verification of the parameters of earthing structures for outdoor and indoor installation.
4. Full inspection of the quality of the power supplied (up to 1000 volts), as well as verification and analysis of the readings of power generated by stations, including solar power stations.
5. Detection of invisible and up to 6m deep cables installed within the premises, without the conduct of exploration works, determination of alignments.
6. A complete analysis of the parameters of charging stations for electric vehicles.
7. Inspection of the quality, integrity of insulation of cables and wires, as well as of resistance of the insulation layer of those cables and wires.
8. Automatic calculation of short circuit current in each section (up to 1000 volts). The Laboratory for Biological Examinations has also been upgraded through the acquisition of the latest devices, which have helped to make it possible to conduct a new expert examination to establish the age and height of a tree.
