Service of the Head of the Division of penitentiary institution having illegally abused powers has been terminated

Head of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice Ambakum Grigoryan has applied the "Termination of Service" disciplinary penalty against the Head of the Division of the penitentiary institution. The latter, abusing his powers, undertook fulfilment of the illegal request of a convict who is a member of a group bearing criminal subculture. At the same time, the same official investigation established the facts that three other officers had improperly fulfilled their official duties for no good reason, and the “Warning” disciplinary penalty was applied against them.
The Penitentiary Service will be consistent with the prevention and elimination of actions committed by officers in violation of law.
