Narcotic drugs, mobile phones, wi-fi devices — Progress report on prohibited items detected at penitentiary institutions for the month of March

Officers of the Territorial Divisions of the Operational Department of the Central Body of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and Security Divisions of Penitentiary Institutions have detected and prevented attempts to circulation of prohibited items, narcotic drugs, as well as card games within penitentiary institutions. Accordingly, during the previous month, officers of the Penitentiary Service detected masses resembling narcotic drugs weighing a total of 2,99 grammes, 88 mobile phones, 75 mobile phone accessories, 4 wi-fi devices, 112 cutting and piercing objects and other prohibited items in bathrooms, under stairways, in cell lockers, on tables, in the pedestals of fans and hideouts made in different places. Relevant proceedings were initiated in all these cases, and forensic-chemical expert examinations were designated.
