Course for psychologists involved in investigative actions with participation of a minor, person with no active legal capacity or person with mental health problem launched

Deputy Minister of Justice Levon Balyan toured the training centre of the “Legal Education and Rehabilitation Programmes Implementation Centre” State Non-Commercial Organisation in Karbi community of Aragatsotn Marz. A course for the “Qualification of psychologists involved in investigative actions with the participation of a minor, person with no active legal capacity or person with mental health problem” has been launched at the training centre. Among the participants are 39 psychologists who participated in the interview for qualification of psychologists involved in investigative actions with the participation of minor, person with no active legal capacity or person with mental health problem in 2024, and 21 psychologists passed the interview stage. Deputy Minister Levon Balyan got acquainted with the contents and organisational works of the programme being implemented, as well as met with the participants of the training course and listened to their opinions and observations. Within the scope of the visit, Deputy Minister Levon Balyan also toured the training centre, met with the staff and got acquainted with the existing problems. At the end of the visit, the administration of the training centre was given relevant assignments to solve the existing problems.
