Digital tools for corruption prevention, new legislative regulations — Corruption Prevention Commission and donor organisations hold working discussion

The Corruption Prevention Commission and representatives of donor organisations held a working discussion on implementation of the actions provided for by the Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2023-2026 at the Ministry of Justice.

The progress of implementation of the actions enshrined in the Chapter of the Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2023-2026 for "Preventing corruption and strengthening the integrity system" and the paths for co-operation with donor organisations were touched upon. In particular, the actions related to the new Law "On prevention of corruption", the mechanisms for anti-corruption expertise of the drafts of regulatory legal acts, the introduction of digital tools in the prevention sector, the institution of integrity managers, ethics committees, and assessment of corruption risks, were discussed. As a result of discussion, the paths for co-operation with donor organisations were predetermined, agreements were reached to continue working discussions and then present the results to the Anti-Corruption Working Group.

Representatives of the USAID-funded Armenia Integrity Project, the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) of the United States Department of State and the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan also participated in the discussion.
