Regional trainings being conducted in marzes within the scope of nationwide awareness-raising campaign for whistle-blowing system continued

Within the scope of the one-year nationwide awareness-raising campaign for the whistle-blowing system, regional trainings have been held for representatives of local self-government bodies and regional governors’ offices and whistle-blowing officers in Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Armavir, Kotayk, Shirak and Tavush Marzes. The aim of the awareness-raising activities is to minimise the negative perceptions about whistle-blowers, raise public awareness about the vital role of whistle-blowers, as well as emphasise the role of the Unified Electronic Platform for Whistle-Blowing (azdararir.am) in combating corruption. The series of trainings will be ongoing and will involve community service officers and other representatives of all marzes of the Republic of Armenia. The trainings are conducted within the scope of co-operation with the German Society for International Co-operation (GIZ), through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Justice and the Armenian Lawyers' Association NGO.
