22 contenders participate in first stage of regular qualification test for licensed mediators

On the initiative of the Ministry of Justice, the first stage (written) of the regular qualification test for licensed mediators was conducted (22 contenders had applied for participation). Candidates who passed the qualification test were given the opportunity to take part in a five-day intensive course developed by international expert mediators. Deputy Director of the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation of the Ministry of Justice Davit Gharibyan and expert lawyer Maria Petrosyan welcomed the participants of the qualification test, noting that the increasingly growing interest in mediation indicates a successful start and prospects for reforms. The second stage (oral) of the qualification test is coming up, and it will be held with the participation of contenders who have successfully passed the written stage. If they pass the second stage successfully, the community of mediators of Armenia will be replenished with new specialists.
