Government expands number of legal acts for settlement of the issues of persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh

Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan has submitted a package of draft laws at the National Assembly, supplementing the series of legal acts initiated by the Government in this period in order to support the settlement of the issues of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. After adoption of the draft Law "On making a supplement to the Law “On creating additional guarantees for protection of the rights and legal interests of participants of the cumulative component of the pension system", the possibility of transfer of the pension savings formed in the cumulative system of Nagorno-Karabakh to the pension funds operating in the Republic of Armenia will be established. Persons involved in the cumulative system of Nagorno-Karabakh may apply for the transfer of their pension savings, and in case of failure to do so, the person maintaining the register of those involved in the fund shall ensure the steps required for making the transfer of the pension savings to the pension funds operating within the cumulative system of the Republic of Armenia.
