Grigor Minasyan becomes familiar with the activities for improvement of conditions for confinement of persons deprived of liberty at "Artik" Penitentiary Institutions

Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan and Deputy Minister Levon Balyan, escorted by Head of the Penitentiary Service Ambakum Grigoryan and the administration, toured "Artik" Penitentiary Institution. The Minister became familiar with the activities aimed at for improvement of the conditions for confinement of persons deprived of liberty at the Penitentiary Institution, the courses being conducted and the process of accepting deliveries. During the tour, the Minister met with life-sentenced convicts and listened to their concerns. The possibility of changing the regime for convicts serving their respective sentences was considered during the meeting. At the end of the visit, Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan gave instructions.
