Discussion on improving management skills and internal rules of procedure between Ministry of Justice and subordinate bodies and organisations

Under the leadership of Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan, the staff of the Ministry of Justice and the bodies and organisations under the co-ordination of the Ministry, participated in a training-workshop devoted to improvement of management skills and internal management issues.

The aim of the workshop is to improve and refine management and leadership skills and capacities of the administration of the Ministry of Justice, as well as enhance management skills through professional analysis of the existing problematic situations.

In his opening remarks at the workshop, Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan emphasised the importance of applying management skills and modern methods in public administration, especially in the justice sector. The Minister also attached importance to continuity of capacity-building of the staff of the Ministry of Justice as a guarantee for the effective implementation of sector-specific reforms.

The trainings were conducted by Candidate of Social Sciences, internationally qualified HR specialist and coach, trainer, consultant, founding CEO of "Cascade People & Business" Company Arpi Karapetyan, and the draft provisions of the Ministry's internal rules of procedure were presented by Director of the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation Tigran Dadunts.

The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Justice, within the scope of Counterpart International’s project "Support to the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation" and the EU project "Support to Justice Reforms in Armenia- Phase II".
