Head of Personal Data Protection Agency elected as member of EUROCONTROL’s Data Protection Supervisory Board

Head of the Personal Data Protection Agency Grigor Nersisyan and Head of Department for Administrative Proceedings of the Agency Vigen Sahakyan have been appointed member and substitute member of the Data Protection Supervisory Board of the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocotrol) for three-year terms, respectively. The main function of the Board is to monitor compliance of the activities of Eurocontrol with the legal regulations for personal data protection and to examine complaints about personal data protection from persons, the personal data of whom are processed by Eurocontrol. Eurocontrol is an international organisation authorised by the European Commission to ensure improvement of air traffic services and air traffic safety in Europe.
