Expert examination of gold bars and precious jewels to be faster and more effective — Expert Center replenished with new device

The Department of Materials Science, Fire-Technical and Electrical Expertise of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO has been replenished with the latest equipment and reference samples for examinations of precious and non-precious stones and minerals.
The new devices provide the opportunity to detect other alloys located under a thick layer of metal or alloy without damaging them, which is a very important factor when conducting expert examination of precious jewels and gold bars. The acquisition of new equipment allows for more thorough examinations by determining new indicators and, at the same time, essentially reducing the time limits required for conducting expert examinations.
