Whistle-blowing cases increase tenfold. Second stage to kick off in October
01/10/2024

As part of the nationwide whistle-blowing campaign, awareness-raising events have been held with over 300 representatives of local self-government bodies in all the marzes of Armenia. The analysis of indicators for whistle-blowing reports received through the whistle-blowing platform azdararir.am revealed that the campaign has already yielded positive results, with the number of whistle-blowing cases increasing almost tenfold.
Presenting the report on the progress and results of implementation of the 2023 Government Programme, Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan informed in the National Assembly that both the quantitative and qualitative indicators of whistle-blowing have increased.
If there are grounds for verifying the reports, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia forwards them — in hard copy — to the body carrying out operational intelligence activities.
According to azdararir.am, 57.88% of whistle-blowing reports have been verified through operational intelligence activities.
Let us mention that, starting from October 2024, anti-corruption education and public awareness activities are planned to be conducted with representatives of local self-government bodies and the private sector, as well as with pupils, teachers and students.
