Sixth meeting of EU-Armenia Partnership Committee on Trade Configuration held in Brussels

Deputy Director of the "Centre for Legislation Development and Legal Research" Foundation Davit Gharibyan participated in the Sixth Meeting of the EU-Armenia Partnership Committee on Trade Configuration held in Brussels, presenting the position of the Armenian side in regard to the provisions on dispute settlement. From the European side, the Meeting was chaired by Deputy Head of Unit Europe and Eastern Neighbourhood at DG Trade of the European Commission Marco Düerkop, and from the Armenian side — Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Hovakimyan. During the Meeting, the parties discussed the activities being carried out within the scope of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement in the area of trade and trade-related co-operation, as well as the relevant respective roadmaps. Later, during the Meeting, under the "Dispute Settlement" agenda, the Committee’s decision was signed, and the relevant annexes to the "Code of Conduct", "Mediation Mechanism" and "Rules of Procedure" documents were adopted.
