Two-day training organised for media representatives within the scope of whistle-blowing campaign

Today, Ahead of the International Anti-Corruption Day, within the scope of the nationwide campaign "Let’s combine efforts to prevent corruption", a two-day course on "The rights of persons with disabilities and corruption" was launched for mass media representatives. The aim of the course is to enhance the professional skills of journalists and editors for covering issues related to the rights of persons with disabilities and identifying the impact of corruption. Tatchat Stepanyan, Head of the USAID Armenia Integrity Project (an international partner of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia), touched upon the role of the media in protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and combating corruption, emphasising the importance of information campaigns for the public at large. During the event, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia will present the whistle-blowing system. The course was organised within the scope of the whistle-blowing campaign being conducted by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. It is being held by the "Disability Rights Agenda" NGO, as part of the Armenia Integrity Project, with the support of the USAID.
