Project "Support to the Armenian Authorities in the International Criminal Court Rome Statute Post-Ratification Processes" in special focus — Minister meets with Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Marieke Monroy-Winter. Congratulating the newly appointed Ambassador, the Minister wished her fruitful work and effective co-operation. The parties considered a number of priorities for continuity of the partnership. Ideas were exchanged with respect to the activities that are being carried out in the fields of judicial-legal reforms, the fight against corruption and human rights protection. Srbuhi Galyan attached importance to the support provided by the Kingdom of the Netherlands to enhance the capacities of the Penitentiary and Probation Services. Special attention was paid to the issues related to the Project "Support to the Armenian Authorities in the ICC Rome Statute Post-Ratification Processes." In regard to the combination of efforts with international partners and the establishment of programme-based agendas, the Minister considered the accurate formulation of needs a matter of principle.
