Issues on deepening co-operation between Armenia and Iran in justice sectors discussed

On 22 December, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Seyed Kazem Sadjadi. The Minister congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on assuming the diplomatic mission to the Republic of Armenia and expressed hope that, with his activities, Seyed Kazem Sadjadi would contribute to the deepening of the existing Armenian-Iranian friendly relations. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia expressed gratitude to the Minister for the reception and mentioned that there is great potential to deepen mutual co-operation with Armenia in a number of sectors. During the meeting, several issues relating to the exchange of convicts, the strengthening of co-operation in sectors of justice, further development of mutual legal assistance and the organising of mutual visits were discussed.
