Minister of Justice receives delegation headed by President of the General Inspection Organisation of Iran

On 13 July, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan received the delegation headed by President of the General Inspection Organisation of the Islamic Republic of Iran Naser Seraji, which is on a three-day visit to Armenia.

Greeting the guests, Arpine Hovhannisyan noted that Armenia has high-level friendly relations with Iran and that the co-operation between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries has entered a new stage of deepening and development.

President of the General Inspection Organisation of the Islamic Republic of Iran Naser Seraji expressed gratitude for the reception and reaffirmed the invitation that Minister of Justice of Iran Mostafa Pourmohammadi had addressed to Arpine Hovhannisyan during his visit to Armenia in May 2016 to pay a reciprocal visit to Iran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues on the exchange of convicts and the strengthening of co-operation in the sphere of mutual legal assistance.
