Session of CIS member states’ workgroup tasked with developing recommendations on improvement of legal assistance implementation mechanisms held

Today, ahead of the 12th session of the Council of Ministers of Justice of Commonwealth of Independent States, the session of the Working Group on Developing Recommendations on Improvement of Implementation Mechanisms of Minsk Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases of 22 January 1993 and Chisinau Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases of 7 October 2002 was held headed by Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Kocharyan.

Head of the working group, Vigen Kocharyan, greeted the members of the participant States presenting the agenda of issues to be discussed and wished efficient working discussions.

During the session the working group held discussions concerning a number of draft international treaties regulating the sector, rendered decisions on amending the drafts of several international treaties of CIS and approved the agenda of the 12th session of the Council of Ministers of Justice of CIS.
