Public awareness-raising campaign on the system of whistle-blowing continues

For the purpose of fostering intolerance against corruption and raising the level of disclosure of corruption crimes, the public awareness-raising campaign on the system of whistle-blowing continues to be carried out throughout the entire territory of Armenia through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The purpose of the public awareness-raising campaign is to raise citizens’ awareness of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On the system of whistle-blowing", the guarantees envisaged for people reporting corruption cases by the Law and the possibility of anonymous whistle-blowing. Within the scope of the awareness-raising campaign, posters encouraging whistle-blowing have been put up on the interstate roads of the Republic and in the city of Yerevan.

At the same time, video clips have been made for the purpose of fostering a positive attitude towards whistle-blowing, with the participation of celebrities and representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
