Minister of Justice receives Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia

On 30 May, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia.

Greeting the Ambassador, the Minister highly appreciated the existing relations between the two countries and noted that there was great potential for deepening the co-operation in the justice sector.

Ambassador Gonzalo Urriolabeitia expressed his gratitude to the Minister for the reception and assured that the partnership between the two friendly countries would be ongoing.

In this context, the Minister discussed with the Ambassador a number of issues related to preparation of the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal and Civil Matters between Armenia and Argentina, as well as touched upon the need and opportunities for exchange of experience in the fields of human rights protection and in the fight against corruption.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Zeynalyan confirmed the willingness of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to develop relations with Argentina and to continue the co-operation in a number of directions.
