Reputable "International IDEA" international organisation to support Ministry of Justice in the process of constitutional reforms

Today, on 1 December, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan received representatives of the reputable "International IDEA" (International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) international intergovernmental organisation.

"International IDEA" supports the sustainability of democracy around the world. This well-known organisation has supported more than two dozens of countries in the process of constitutional reforms in order to make it more transparent and democratic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of implementing constitutional reforms and the representation of the Fund in the process of reforms.

The representatives of "International IDEA" welcomed the efforts of the Ministry of Justice in the process of constitutional reforms, emphasising that the reforms are important and must be acceptable for the people.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the representatives of "International IDEA" for the support provided in the process of constitutional reforms.

The representatives of the organisation attached importance to the activities being carried out by the Ministry and expressed willingness to support the reforms in the justice sector.

The Minister of Justice and the representatives of "International IDEA" agreed to implement the constitutional reforms through joint efforts.
